The Classes

The Floor is Yours contains a diverse group of women, from New Jersey and New York, with a passion for Dance. We each bring our own expertise and styles: Pole, Aerial Silks, Yoga, Burlesque, Zumba, Hip Hop, Belly Dance, and Salsa. We offer a wide variety of classes in everything from Pole and Burlesque to Yoga, Zumba, and Barre!




Sondre is our head Zumba instructor at The Floor Is Yours, she has been teaching for over 2 years and takes health and fitness as a huge priority, she even owns her own line of fitness gear and is a health coach. Sondre makes getting into shape fun while learning some new sexy dance moves!




Designed to balance the body through a series of specific exercises and controlled breathing. Pilates classes will help you focus on improving your postural alignment, core strength, mobility, and awareness, and achieving a strong core foundation. Barre fitness combines ballet-inspired moves with elements of Pilates, dance, yoga, and strength training. Using a ballet barre, you'll focus on high reps of small range movements as well as training yourself to hold your body still while you contract specific muscles until you feel the burn! 



Learn how to balance your up-the-pole tricks with floor work and base-of-the-pole moves. Sexy Floor Dance focuses on ways to travel across the floor and around the pole and gives you new floor-based tricks to add to your routines. You can use heels for that sexier touch or just go barefoot if you prefer comfort.
